How can I get my curly hair sleek and straight?

There are two ways to get your hair straight and sleek from home. First, you can get your hair straight from just blowdrying. Here is how.

Shampoo and condition the hair and then towel dry. Use a hair serum on your hair, I like Rusk sea kelp serum. Now get a large round brush and blowdryer.

You will pull all of your haor up and out of the way and just leave a small section down, starting at the bottom back of the hair. Using the brush and following with the blowdryer, dry from root to end. Do not pull the next small section down until this section is completely dry.

When dry, pull another section down until finished. Then you will apply the Rusk sea kelp through the hair again to seal the hair and make the hair look shiny and smooth. (Yes, you can use this product on both wet or dry hair) Second method is to shampoo, condition, apply serum and then just dry as normal, quickly.

When the hair is completely dry you will pull all the hair up except a small section, again at the bottom back and use a flat iron to straighten. Use the flat iron from root to end. Do section by section and again, when done apply more serum to seal the hair.As for flat irons, I like the Rusk ceramic iron or Gold N Hot flat irons.

These both get very hot but will work perfectly on normal hair, on a lower setting and will work perfect on a higher setting for unruly, hard to straighten hair. Good luck, hope this helps.
