He told me I did plenty of illegal things, for starters, recording our encounter was illegal. I was then taken to jail, the car was towed(my mother made it to the scene as I was being detained and they would not allow her to get her car). I had to bail out and pay to get the car out of pound.
Now, I don't drink, I don't do drugs. I don't speed or not wear seat belts. It's crazy, all of the crime in chicago and I got to jail?
My paperwork stated that I was arrested for obstructing justice, and the mail that I received from the tow yard stated that the car was impounded because I was an unlicensed driver. I never had the opportunity to supply my license, because the officer pulled me out of the car before finding the other paperwork in the glove box(which he only allotted me about 10 seconds to do). What would you do in this situation.
I have court in a couple of weeks for the obstructing justice charge. This is just truly ridiculous. Im damn near scared to leave the house because I may wind up in jail for truly absolutely nothing at all.
To add insult to injury, during processing, when he was removing my cuffs, he told me and I quote "do not make any sudden moves as I am removing your cuffs, or I will be forced to KILL you" WTF?!?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
