This is a great question, my belief is that yes, pets are psychic, but I think that you need to be closely involved with them to tune in to it. I can recall as a child, my mothers British Blue Short-hair cat strolling casually up the path to meet my father on his return from work, now some might say that she was aware of the time pattern, but since Dad used to sometimes cycle to work and other days drove the car, the times would vary quite considerably. Many years later, soon after my father had died, my mother temporarily re-located and I had to go to their house on a number of occasions to sort things out.
I had adopted their Chihuahua, William and probably made a bad decision in taking him with me to the house the first few times, as when we arrived and I closed the door he would not go any further and stayed by the front door looking and sounding feeling very unhappy! I did not repeat the visits with him. There are also many well documented accounts of pets finding their way home over quite astonishing distances and displaying other behavior which is hard to define in any other way.
The third website I have listed cites some interesting examples. I believe that we have much to learn from our furry friends!
I guess it is safe to say that animals have a sixth sense, because their senses seem to be stronger than humans. Animals know when something is wrong with people. Dogs even have the ability to predict heart attacks and seizures in some people.
There was a story that aired about a "Grim Creeper" cat that could predict when patients of a nursing home would die. I remember when I was a child, I read some article in a magazine about cats who were left-handed having a 6th sense. It even said to put something in an empty paper towel holder to see which hand it used to grab it.
This would let you know if you had a right or left handed cat. --quote-- When he senses their time is near, Oscar goes to the room, jumps onto the bed, curls up next to the patient, and purrs. This is a very interesting question @iklilian! I have asked a similar question too but it is more or less general on whether animals can predict or tell ahead if there is an incoming earthquake. I've received several interesting answers.
Animals has a strong sense of smell and they are very aware of their surroundings. Maybe this is one reason why animals can sense ahead of an incoming earthquake. But there are still more studies regarding this.
Now to your question, I've read an article on how to tell if a cat is psychic. 1. First you have to determine the psychic abilities of your pet cat and this is by reading the body language of your cat.
If you notice that your cat acts strange and shows unusual body language like its tail is down, ears are down, and often disappears, you can be sure that something is going to happen in your part of town. 2. There has been scientific findings that demonstrated that cat can understand at least 100 words.
This can be tested in your cat by visualizing your cat in your mind that you are adding food to the cat bowl. And if your cat will go to the bowl as you are thinking of it you have created a telepathy with your pet. This cannot be done in one sitting, so you need to practice on this more so that you can confirm if it is not coincidence.3.
You can also do another test by sitting quietly with your cat, be sure that it is not meal time when you do this. Lovingly stroke your pet and in your mind repeat how much you love and treasure your cat. Your pet may continue purring even if you have stopped stroking and petting it.
Try then, to ask your cat in your mind this phrase, "Do you love me? ". Wait for it to respond in a meaningful way.It could be a lick, intense purring or rubbing his face against your hands.
4. According to experts all cats are psychic particularly the Japanese Bobtail.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
