I assume you're talking about a coax jack. You can use an RF modulator to connect something with RCA outputs (red, white, and yellow) to a coax input: amazon.com/Dynex-WS-007-Modul… However, I don't know of anything in reverse, since I've never heard of a TV without a coax input; that's how the antenna or cable line is connected (you can plug that into the VCR instead).
If your vcr only has a coaxial output, you'd need a "demodulator". Those are hard to find and cost something $80 (or more), which is close to the cost of a new VCR. Are you sure your current vcr doesn't have other outputs?
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
