Aromatherapy is the use of volatile plant oils, including essential oils (those oils that give plants their characteristic scent), for psychological and physical well-being. My favorite way is to place a bowl with a few drops of essential oils in it on my desk or next to my bed to immediately rejuvenate or relax me. Placing it over a heat source will help the oils evaporate even more quickly.
There are plenty of other ways to use essential oils. You can use them in conjunction with other oils to give yourself a nice body rub. To do this, simply add three to five drops of an essential oil to two teaspoons of a carrier oil.
A carrier oil is a vegetable oil that is used to dilute the essential oil. Some examples that you can easily find in a supermarket or health food store are almond oil, carrot oil, evening primrose oil, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, peanut oil, sesame oil, and sunflower oil. Always go for cold-pressed, unrefined, certified organic oil whenever possible to get the most essential fatty acids and vitamins.
(The less refined the oil is, the darker it will be.) You can choose which essential oils you want to smell like after your massage, though certain scents have been linked to different effects. For instance, lavender is calming; citrus is enlivening; eucalyptus is cleansing; and jasmine is intoxicating (puts you in the mood, so to speak). Health food stores all carry a variety of essential oils with explanations of what their scents promise to do for you.
Pick your own! But essential oils aren't good only for massage. If you can boil water, you can create a great aromatic steam.
Use five drops of a peppermint or eucalyptus essential oil per liter of boiling water to ease a cold or sinus congestion, or just two drops per liter for a gentler relaxing effect on the nasal passages. Pour the mixture into a large bowl or sink, lean over the bowl, and place a towel over your head and shoulders to lock in the steam. Voila!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
