How can Michael Jackson be nominated for Best Male Pop Performance at the Grammy Awards this year, if he is no longer even alive?

A Grammy can be awarded to artists that have died during that voting year. If the deceased artist wins, the Grammy is awarded posthumously (following or occurring after death). Michael Jackson had the documentary and various other performance media released during this Grammy year, therefore he still qualified for the nomination.

This is not the first artist to be nominated/awarded the Grammy post death. Others have been, Nirvana, James Brown, and Gerald Levert, among others. Michael Jackson did win the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 52nd Grammy awards show.

S vast catalog of music, songs, performances, and videos all contributed to the win. Prince Michael and Paris, accepted the award on his behalf. It is not an uncommon practice to nominate and/or award artists after they have passed away.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
