Unfortunately, most of us have a complex subsystem within the subconscious dimension of the consciousness mind/brain system, which includes well-established self-negating programs that run automatically in response to life stressors. These stressor/triggers can be the tiger in your path or the tiger in your mind. Because of the self negating programming, thoughts, beliefs, feelings, memories, and physiology may be adversely affected.
There is another tiger that makes life even more difficult. Recall that most people constantly feel stressed. But you might be one of those folks who doesn’t feel anxious or stressed very often.
So you wonder how any of this could be related to your symptoms. The reality is that stress may be activated without any conscious awareness of feeling stressed. We call this unconscious stress the crouching tiger in your mind.
While the original stressor may be temporary and self-limited, the stress response may be ongoing. Understand that this persistence of stress may contribute to your symptoms. The tiger is lurking, whether you are aware of it or not.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
