Ignorance. Grandma above me is a perfect example. They didn't go broke from social programs, they went broke because of all the wealthy elites weren't paying their taxes.

If I had said someone was an *******, or stupid, or feeble-minded, that would be hate. As for Greece.... if the government falls short on expected revenue, year after, because a large, rich segment of the population does not pay its fair share of the tax burden, then the government will not be able to pay for its programs and workers, and will have to raise taxes on those already paying. The ignorance is trying to blame its collapse on things like paying its government employees, and then making the another leap and use it as an example of why socialism fails.

Greece has failed because its right-wing conservatives are corrupt. I suggest you look it up from several sources, and then use some critical thinking.

Greece has a very large redistribution of wealth, and also many of the core industries are owned publicly. This is why people call it "socialist", but it is not a socialist nation since, as you said, many industries are private. The thing that most people are referring to is the redistribution of wealth, where the more you make the more you get taxed so it all evens out.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
