How can you permanently delete text messages on a Motorola CDMA Cell Phone?

How can you permanently delete text messages on a Motorola CDMA Cell Phone Just curious. I have some confidential text messages that need to be permanently deleted from a Motorola CDMA cell phone. I don't want to violate privacy laws by leaving them on the phone if I lose it or sell it.

I usually just go to the "text messages" folder, click "menu", click "clear text messages" then there is an alert prompt asking if I want to permanently delete the msgs in the folder. A hard reset would clear them. Usually a hard reset is no big deal as long as you still have your APP CAB files and you contacts etc backed up to Outlook.

Once a message has been permanently deleted, it is gone for good If the deleted text messages are still in the deleted file on the phone, you can view them there, but if the deleted file has been emptied, there is no way to recover them. A USB cable and software won't help and there is no program on the market to recover deleted text messages. Once a message has been permanently deleted, it is gone for good.

If you were to see the detail of his cell phone bill from his wireless provider, you could see the numbers of who he is sending to and receiving text messages from, but not the text itself. That is about the most that you can do. I certainly wouldn't want to tell you what to do, but if you really suspect this and have been putting off marrying him for 2 years already, I'm sure you can guess what my advice would be.

I don't think that I would need proof since your gut feeling is probably right on. This is just my personal opinion, certainly not my expert opinion, since you wrote to me as an expert in cellphones, not relationships! But I hope this helps.Thanks.

The real answer is you cant. Because when you delete them on your phone they are still saved by your carrier, or on the other persons phone. My suggestion would be a company called TigerText.

I guess they send text through their own server and delete text off the server, your phone and the phone you sent it to, so it is gone forever when you want it to. Pretty cool stuff, check it out! .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
