How did everyone all of a sudden find out about Slenderman?

Yes, the Enderman is based on the Slenderman myth. This video in particular isn't in correspondence to Minecraft's Enderman, but it's directly related to the myth of the creature itself, as are many other things, like Slender: The Arrival, and Slender: The Eight Pages.

MINECRAFT came out before the whole slender an fiasco...however Enderman is a spin on Slenderman.
