1 Lay down on your back and put a pillow (the roll ones) under you knees keeping them slightly bent. That removes the stress from the stretching nerves.
Sometimes the piriformis gets trigger points during times of stress, like pregnancy. Trigger point therapy is deep, but once it releases, it feels better. Sometimes the piriformis get so tight, it squeezes the sciatic nerve, sending pain down your leg.
So massage and stretching is good for that. You can also look up stretches for the piriformis and see what you're able to do.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
