If you wanted to start from scratch, with your own glass factory, optical lab, precision grinding tools, optically experienced mathematician on call to set the relevant calculations going, etc, etc, then the sky is your limit!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
