To transfer from the CATSI Act to another Australian state or territory regulator, corporations must first pass a special resolution and then lodge an application with the Registrar. The Registrar can then determine whether the transfer is appropriate and deregister the corporation with ORIC. Existing bodies corporate can apply to ORIC to be regulated under the CATSI Act, subject to any obligations they may owe to their current regulator.
