Palestinians are arab's. They are no different than other arabs in the region. Jordan used to be part of the former British Mandate of Palestine and the majority of the population consider themselves to be "palestinians" but the word Palestine or in arabic Falastin comes from the word Philistine .
The Romans renamed the country country Paelistina after they crushed the Judean revolts after the Philistines who infact came from Greek Islands and only settled the area around Gaza. The modern day Palestinians are infact arabs and date from the arab invasion of the 7th century and arab migration from the surrounding region. Politically the Arab League countries decided not to give palestinian refugees citizenship and preferred to keep them in refugee camps for 3 generations.
They preferred to use them as political pawns in their continuous war with Israel - indoctrinating them on a diet of hatred. Israel on the other hand absorbed and gave full citizenship to over 900,000 jews who were expelled from about 12 arab countries.
Those people lived as a unit. You cannot divide people into groups.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
