Residential and nursing homes are now called care homes. Care homes provide personal care, meals and accommodation to people who are no longer able to look after themselves. You can obtain a list of residential homes from the Commission for Social Care Inspection by calling 01452 632750 or by e-mail.
The Adult Helpdesk can send out a Directory containing details about Gloucestershire Care Homes. If you would like to request a copy send your name, address and telephone number by email. If you need help and advice about choosing a Care Home or about financial arrangements call the Adult Helpdesk on 01452 426868 or by e-mail.
More information can be found at the Care Quality Commission's website.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
