How do I safely shut down my computer without the screen?

I installed ram that may not be compatible. The screen won't come up on my computer. How do I shut down the CPU safely without being able to see the screen?

Without the screen, it's pretty tough! I suggest you try to do as little damage to your system as possible and... Press the power button in, for about 10-15 seconds, until the computer manually shuts down. While this isn't the best way to do it, it's safer then just pulling the plug!

Finding compatible RAM/Memory is tough at times, an older system's RAM might be hard to find as well. They all Look the same in the store, but unless you do your research, or have someone get it for you in a computer store, you might have problems like you currently do.
