How do I sell a book with an international ISBN on Amazon, eBay and other stores?

The book is currently sold in another country and already has an ISBN 13. However, Amazon's database does not have it. I am assuming it will not be recognized by other book sellers as well.

I could become a pro-merchant with Amazon and add this ASIN. But then I might have to do that with other sellers as well.Is there a way to enter this ISBN - so that stores such as Amazon and others automatically get it in their database? Here's another option for you... I wouldn’t use Amazon or eBay...it limits your options at times. I’ve been using bigwords.com" rel="nofollow">bigwords.com and it’s been extremely successful with selling any books. I remember my first time using this feature, it made me about $84.

The procedures for becoming a seller are on the Amazon and eBay sites. Just read them. Having an international ISBN number doesn't matter unless you want Amazon to stock it, then you should have the book's publisher contact Amazon to distribute it to them.

4 Thanks for the clarification. Amazon sells books, which means either it or one of its partners must have the physical possession of the book. It can't just list a book for sale overseas, it must have a way to sell the physical book and ship it to someone.

The book company needs to become an Amazon partner or contact Ingram Books, which is a book distributor in the United States. It is possible that Ingram can slap a US ISBN sticker on it and distribute it to Amazon and other bookstores. But the publisher has to establish a relationship with Amazon or Ingram and then get physical books into their hands to that they can sell them.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
