How do I tell my bf of 2 yrs, living together for 1.5 yrs, that I want to get married? he openly talks about it?

1 of my friends said te same thing to me, but since she knows us, very very well, she also added that maybe he just has a set time amount that you should be bf & gf, lets say 5 yrs. Once again, my question would still be why? Thing is why couldnt we have just a long engagement?

So weve been together for 2 yrs, we could get engaged lets say for 2 yrs, thats 4 yrs, then actually start planning the wedding for yr 5. His is still what he wanted, but made me feel like I was getting what I wanted without being a bitch foxylillady 56 months ago.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
