How do you change a power steering pump 1993 pontiac grand prix 3.1 litre with auto trans?

I just went through this and it can be a B#&%$! Start by jacking up the front of the car high enough to work underneath. Remove the front passenger side tire.

You'll have to remove the hose fitting at the back/bottom of the pump. Then follow it down and across the bottom of the frame; there are several brackets securing it to the frame you'll need to loosen or remove. At the opposite end of the hose where it connects to the steering arm there it very little room to work; You'll have to remove the power brake vacuum booster and master cylinder together and tilt the motor forward to reach the hose end.
