That is typical of Republicans. They are not "people-friendly", nor minority friendly, nor do they care about anyone who is suffering in any way. They either lay blame or they look the other way so they don't have to help anyone or donate anything.
You do find a Republican at church once in awhile that will volunteer or donate, though. THEN, you really got something! So it is not a Black vs.White issue.
It is a Republican vs. normal caring person issue.
You fail. The *true* culprits of the Katrina aftermath were the Governor of Louisiana and New Orleans Ray Nagin. The city should have had a mandatory evacuation 2 days before the storm hit but they didn't.
He and many of the city's residents were banking on the face that their nanny, the Federal Government, would "save" them rather than taking the responsibility to save themselves. *Then* they started all that crap about "blowing up the levees" and Kanye "McFail" West's diatribe (causing even Mike Myers to wish he were somewhere else at the time) about "Bush hating black people"--what a load of horse manure. Meanwhile, Obama has purposefully minimized the Federal response by *not* directing agencies to work together and get the job done.
Those agencies were part of the build-up to the disaster by not doing their jobs in the first place. Thank you for playing. We have some wonderful parting gifts for you.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
