How do you know if your 1990 Honda Accord ex 5 speed uses transmission fluid?

If your Honda has a manual transmission then it requires SAE 10w-30 motor oil, preferably synthetic. If it is an automatic then it requires genuine Honda ATF DW-1 and nothing else.
