Every year since I was a kid we've made a Gingerbread House during Christmas season. And every year we use the same homemade pattern. What's nice is we can make our gingerbread house look different each time we make it.
Just decorate it anyway you want! I will share our gingerbread house with you. FIRST, make molasses cookie dough.
Cream shortening, add molasses and beat until creamy. Sift dry ingredients together and add to first mixture. You will need to make MIRACLE ICING which is the absolute trick that holds it all together!
SECOND, we took our house pattern that I show here. We cut these shapes out of cardboard. Then roll out the molasses gingerbread dough 1/8" thick on large cookie sheet.
Two sheets 10" x 14" will work for this size house. THIRD, place patterns on gingerbread dough and cut around the pieces with a sharp knife. There will be four sides, four chimney pieces and two roof pieces.
Leave a small margin of excess dough along the cut edges which are exposed. This ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
