Not sure why people are so pessimistic. I reckon there will be a result. 2 wickets, 33 runs.
The lead for any team will normally be a faint one, 10 runs or so. That takes this match to a one innings shootout! If Indian lower order didn't collapse they would have been batting tomorrow to get a substantial lead.
By the time their innings would have ended, England would have only time to kill. But now they'll have to play for a win here. If India had another bad day this match would have been over for them but they fought back!
Something they couldn't do the entire series. I would not criticise them because it is a young bunch and it us the transition phase. But it is really good to see that the holes of the greats are being filled.
Obviously, this needs to be done on consistent basis. BQ: As I said, it depends on a one inning shootout. These 3 days have no importance now.
The 3rd innings will be the decider. Regards.
Great fight back from India because let's face it, they were in all sorts of troubles yesterday in the verge of a certain defeat. But now they have leveled the play field making this contest wide open. Now England will not have the big lead they expected.. Kholi and Dhoni batted very patiently under enormous pressure; just what the India needed.
That's what real test cricket is all about. Both ODI specialists pulled off a Dravid Laxman show today. Well done!
It was the most unluckiest way to get out for M.S. Run yourself out on 99 in a test match! Well that was terrible but his 99 was more valuable that a hundred under no pressure. He should be proud of playing a real test innings what we don't see often from him.
As for Kholi this kid has already showed that he got potential. He has showcased it in ODIs. It was just a matter of time we could witness it in this format.
And this innings will give him heaps of confidence. He is the future of Indian cricket. BQ:- India clawed some ground back in to this test match.
It all depends on how England bats in their 2nd innings. If they be over defensive, India will stand a chance to get them out for a cheap score considering the behavior of the pitch. England will more likely look to waste time as a draw will make them the winners of the series.
I think this is where India should try and count on. As for now this contest is wide open with England still has an edge over India. Good luck for both teams....
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
