I don't know that I would try. If they are terrible at "accepting" constructive criticism, chances are they will not listen very hard no matter how you try to tell them, or they will just blow it off. Those people usually need to be told in a VERY blunt and straightforward way.
The problem is, most of them are so defensive and already have their guard up regarding any criticism, they are really difficult to convey this message to and have it sink in very deeply. But you can always try. More.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
