How does removing guns from the hands of law-abiding citizens make our cities more safe?

The logic behind the Liberals and gun control is not about making society safer. It is an attempt to make everyone more dependent on government. What everyone needs to realize is that the government can protect us from invading armies, but they do a lousy job protecting us from terrorists and crooks.

If you want safety from a terror attack or a criminal you need to be packing. We would be safer if we followed the second amendment.

Firearms in private hands more commonly kill their owners or their owners' family members than evil-doers. Everyone is safer when there are few or no firearms in private hands. It is a myth that people with weapons can prevent or limit mass shootings or any other kind of crime.

Experiment after experiment have shown that armed people cannot act successfully against armed attacks even when they are warned that an incident will occur.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
