How is the gay marriage acceptable in the episcopal church and other christian churches?

Ultimately I think that God can be described as both feminine and masculine. God is unknown to us, we cannot decipher exactly what He or She may truly be. The Episcopal church has a surprising tolerance of other beliefs in the church.

I love the episcopal church, because it is exactly what I hope for. It unites the liberals and conservatives under one banner, something truly amazing if you ask me. The Episcopal church still follows the Bible, its creeds, and the book of common prayer.

It is just that the more progressive believers take another look at things. It is perfectly fine, if you ask me. I mean, let's take slavery for example.

Even though it is allowed in the Bible, it is necessary to take our current morals and negate any possibility of slavery being allowed Also, they are very strong on certain beliefs. For example, remember the "Muslim Christian" priest? She was stripped of her priestly rights because she refused to accept the Trinity.

In short, even though some things may be strange to us, I think it is worth giving them an equal chance. Edit: don't you think it's funny that the very church that claims to be Christ's church not only insults other denominations, but fails to realize that all other Christian denominations, including Orthodoxy, don't recognize the Pope as the leader of Christendom. We could go much more in detail and say that things like Purgatory, the Immaculate conception, etc are not of Christ.

Many thousands of Episcopalians have done so in recent years. The Anglican Church was founded on political abuse, not theology. It is no wonder at all that they are as lost as they are.
