How long should you monitor your blood sugar before seeing a doctor?

OK, it is definitely time for you to be checked by a doctor. You need to have an A1c drawn, which is more accurate in gauging whether you are diabetic or pre-diabetic. Instead of just giving a reading for that moment in time that you are stuck, an A1c gives a picture of how in or out of control your glucose is over a 2-3 month period.

None of those are good readings, but how bad they are depends on when they were taken. Were any of them fasting, meaning first thing in the morning, before you had anything to eat? Or are you saying all four were taken on the same day, like before each meal, and at bedtime?

Really, though, unless they were taken directly after a meal (you should always wait 2 hrs after a meal before checking blood glucose), all of them are too high. Please see a doctor, soon, and get checked. You can be diabetic, and have incremental damage happening to your eyes, kidneys, nerves, blood vessels, etc., and you would not even know it, until you have enough damage to be symptomatic.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
