How to compare two different products in terms of effectiveness?

Have you seen those adverts that say, "it does exactly what it says on the tin. "? For me that's the real test of any products effectiveness.It must be able to satisfy what the customer describes as value and more so add more.

Therefore, the basis to comparing two different products effectiveness will their been able to satisfy perceived indices of what the customer will refer to their being effective. These criteria could be physical, chemical, sensory, aesthetic or other attributes which will satisfy the needs, wants or aspiration of the customer.In a nutshell, effectiveness has to do with the ability of the product to do what it claims to do to the customers in a particular niche. It is "benefit!

Benefit! Benefit!

Effectiveness refers to how well the solution fulfills the problem. Efficiency refers to how well the solution utilizes the resources. For example, you want to paint your house and have to decide between using a small paintbrush VS big paintbrush VS your hands.

Both paintbrushes will be equally EFFECTIVE since they can both get the job done equally well. However, the big paintbrush will be more EFFICIENT than the small paintbrush, since it can do the same exact job but much faster. If you compare the paintbrush VS using your hands, you will realize that the paintbrush is more EFFECTIVE since they are able to paint evenly and with better quality whereas your hands will make an uneven painting surface and leave fingerprints.

Your hand will never be able to do the same job as a paintbrush and therefore it is less effective.

Question is wrong. Two different products have different effectiveness. If one product is Biscuit and another chocolate how can you compare.

Taste will be different,ingredients different,manufacturing process will be different. Biscuit can be salty,not chocolate for example. Same in put product - Potato - can be chips - can be finger chips.

Can we say finger chips is more effective than chips.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
