Not sure where you live. But you could go out and buy a pre-paid debit card, which also acts just like a credit card for online purchases - Green Dot is the most well known of these companies. To buy the card, I think, costs about $4 or $5 as the initial fee.

You can fill it up by using cash anywhere that sells the cards - typically walgreens, CVS, etc, etc... So, buy the card, pay the small fee at point of sale. Go home, register your card online at their website. Go back to the store, give the cashier however much you want to put on the card and done... Voila!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
