Some designs can be fairly stable in temperature the year round. The best would be if you lived in a cave, but that has its own problems. Earth-sheltered houses are probably the most stable of the practical styles.
In second place is the style I encountered in Yemen. Windows were small. Outside walls were 2' thick and made of stone.
During the day, they would absorb heat from the sun, keeping the inside fairly cool. At night, the absorbed heat would be radiated (in part) into the house, keeping it from getting too cold.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
