How will my dogs behaviour change after neutering?

It seems to cut down on aggression and domineering behavior. Our daughter's female cockapoo was fixed recently and her behavior towards our Corgi seems much improved.
It may depend on how old the dog is. Maybe more of an effect if the dog is young. I had my German Shepherd fixed at 4 years and he didn't change much, if at all.
