I got my avatar from profiles.yahoo. Com although I was kicked from yahoo, I still kept the avatar. profiles.yahoo.com yahoo's avatar system allows you to customize not just your clothing, but your face, gender, hair, eye color, complete wardrobe, background, etc.For askville, I did a "print screen" and crop of the avatar image before uploading it here.

Step by Step You need to have the photo on your computer. This is the process: Click on My Askville Click on Edit Profile (next to your avatar) Click on Upload Photo (Underneath your avatar) Click on Browse (find the file for the photo on your computer) Click on Photo Click on Upload now Then you are done. If you do not have anything on your computer that you want to upload.

I am a graphic artist, it would be a pleasure to design something for you. That being said, it wouldn't be free because it is custom work. My normal graphic work is $25 an hour, but for something simple I could do for a flat fee of $25 for each peice.

..here's a couple of ideas If you just want a 'non personal' avatar...you can go to the Google home page and click on 'images'...then type in the subject that you're interested in. These images are already reduced in size. I like to just 'right click' on the image and 'save it' to my pictures file.

Then, it is easily uploaded to your profile. Here's a cute one I found by typing in 'Christmas mouse'. If you'd like something more personal, like a picture of yourself or a favorite pet...you can go to your own picture file.

Open the picture, edit and crop it...then resize it to around 2" x 2", saving the picture as 'save as' avatar. That way, it doesn't wreck your original picture. Then, you can upload it from your picture file......just like my cat, Smokey Sources: My experience HELENofTROY's Recommendations KooKeys T-Rex Amazon List Price: $15.99 Average Customer Rating: 1.0 out of 5 (based on 1 reviews) White Boxer Short with I Love Avatar .
