Keep in mind that the SAT is not the sole determining factor to your admission to a college or university. It is only one part of the package. Other parts include your extracurricular activities, GPA, admission essay, etc. Many colleges are beginning to move further away from the SAT or ACT as an indicator of success because studies indicate that prep courses can inflate the grades (i.e.
More people get passing scores) but this is not necessarily correlated with being a successful college student (which is the reason of the test in the first place). Knowledge is only part of taking a standardized test. Knowing how to take the test is the other part.
Reading directions for instance seems so obvious but many people don't. In addition, knowing how to limit your choices and knock out answers that can't be right off the bat increase your chance of scoring well. While the question makers probably create good stems (the questions) and legitimate distractors (the incorrect answers), there are still ways of knowing which answers are not correct.
Scoring well or scoring badly is not an indicator of you personally because standardized tests have also been shown in research to be culturally biased. While the test takers don't intent this, it happens anyway. In addition, some people, with no preparation, score very well just because they do well on standardized tests. Other people who freeze or tense up, despite knowledge and preparation, might score badly.
So relax. There are many colleges and universities to choose from.
Yeah, just relax. Ya get all nervous, you're gonna choke. Learn a few quick relaxations techniques and take extra pencils, and you'll do fine.
Get a good night's sleep. Eat breakfast. Go to the bathroom before you leave.
Bring extra pencils (or is the SAT computer-based now? I'm so old...) Don't spend the last night cramming. You won't squeeze in any more information than you already have in your previous studying for it.
You'll just stress yourself out. Make sure you know beforehand when and where the test is taking place, and how to get there. Leave yourself plenty of time to account for traffic.
Good luck!
Just relax, take a deep breadth, keep practicing, and be confident. You can log on to examville. Com there you can interact with the students worldwide that mite help:).

My wife and I scoured the Internet to look for highly affordable ways to help our kids get ready for college. We found a great resource examville.com. YAY!) and I decided to have some last minute dinner in the most expensive restaurant part of the hotel. Of course at this point I had used my vouchers and new about them, but because of the brain state I was in didn't quite really get a chance to realize what bacon I was bringin' to the table and how much of it. Towards the end of my meal I was getting my wallet out to pay with the vouchers.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
