I am looking for names of authors and names of books of young adult historical fiction?

I am looking for names of authors and names of books of young adult historical fiction I am in a class that I have to do a power point of the backgroud of historical fiction and report on some authors and books. Please help. I can't find a website that I can find just young adult historical fiction authors.

Two that I can think of off the top of my head: The "Young Royals" and "Royal Diaries" Series, by Carolyn Meyer. These are books about, obviously, young royals like Queens Mary and Elizabeth when they were princesses. My children loved them, as did I.

Wikipedia The Wikipedia entry explicitly mentions Ann Rinaldi as writing a large series of young adult historical fiction. I very much enjoyed Harry Turtledove's alternate history books in middle school and high school, but I'm a military history buff. I doubt Mark Twain was writing to a modern young adult audience, but a number of his books would be good for young adults to read.

I am looking for good non fiction books for a second grader.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
