Looking for a book, young adult historical fiction, set during French Revolution?

Looking for a book, young adult historical fiction, set during French Revolution It was a series of 6 books about a young English woman rescuing French aristocrats in a Scarlet Pimpernel kind of way. Her foe was a French soldier, and of course they valiantly fought a mutual attraction and the series ended with them sailing off into the sunset! Would love to reread but can't remember author or titles.

I know you asked this question a long time ago but did you ever find the answer. I have been recently wondering about a series of books I read and your description matches my memory. I think (although I could be wrong) that the English aristocrat was called Lady Caro and her foe Raoul?

French Revolution The French Revolution (1789–1799) was a period of political and social upheaval and radical change in the history of France, during which the French governmental structure, previously an absolute monarchy with feudal privileges for the aristocracy and Catholic clergy, underwent radical change to forms based on Enlightenment principles of citizenship and inalienable rights. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
