I am new to buying stock. How much above the price that I bought it for is a good sell price? In terms of percentages?

I have stocks that I am keeping that are up over 500%. Sell it when you see something better to buy.

Well I think that depends on a number of factors. Is the stock low cap, mid cap, or high cap? Are you paying a per trade commission?

Does the stock pay dividends? What is your investment horizon? (Are you saving for the near term or the long?) Are you comfortable with high or low risk?

If you are new to stocks I strongly suggest weseed.com/" rel="nofollow">weseed.com/ you can invest play money in real companies to get your feet wet and understand your personal feelings about risk.
