Find the ethernet cable that runs from your modem to your computer. Disconnect the cable end from your computer and instead plug it into router port that is labeled something like WAN or Internet. That will be a port that is separate from the set of 4 ports for your LAN (ethernet) connections.
If you're using a wired connection, you'll need to run another ethernet cable from one of the four LAN ports on the router to the network port on your computer. If you're running wirelessly, you'll need to go through the setup procedure for the router, supplying an SSID name and wireless password. All this stuff should be covered in the manual for your new router.
If you've lost it, just feed your router's model number into Google and download the manual.
If you have an existing modem - then the router should replace it - I am not sure what sort of modem you have - if it is dial up - then it is defunct and not needed. The wireless router should be the only box of tricks in the loop anyhow. The LAN (ethernet) goes from the PC to the N300- the router should then connect to the telephone line.
If the PC/laptop is wireless you do not even need the ethernet cable. The image below shows your router is much like mine (save yours has USB too) - so the yellow ethernet connects from the router to the PC - and the grey socket goes to the phone line. Your old modem is defunct and not needed.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
