How expensive your divorce is depends on what you two can agree on. If you self file, and it's uncontested, you can get away a lot cheaper than if lawyers are involved. Considering the rest of your post though, my guess is that you two won't agree on everything and legal assistance will be needed.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
