6 All of the above comments are true. The question you need to ask yourself is more fundamental. If you sue him, there is a good chance he will be your enemy for life.It will break up the family, and probably cause some issues with your spouse (assuming that the step-son belongs to him/her).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
