I forgot the name of this classic novel about a woman getting cheated by hubby for younger girl named leah I read this book about 6 years ago,when I was in 7th grade. So I vaguely remember the details. It was set in the 19th century I guess,about a young headstrong woman,eldest of tthe three sisters.

Named after birds. I just remember the youngest girls name,dove! She hates this one man,the male protagonist(dont remember his name either)hes a jerk.

Her father gets her married to him. He marries her for her money. Then he goes on to cheat her for a young chick named leah a coal miners daughter.
