I have a 12v cigarette-adapter splitter for my car. If buy a tv/dvd combo thing for travel, will this splitter work? My adapter says it is only good for devices that are up to 12v.

You should be OK Automobile-based TV and DVD combinations are engineered for 12 volt systems so they should not exceed the capability of the car to provide adequate power. If you were putting a *home* DVD and a &home* tv in the car, that's a different story. You'll be OK with this splitter setup..

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
