5 For starters I would recommend reading the instructions. homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/wireless/lbc... is the link to your new device... all documentation and help is there. If you have a modem from you ISP and you have a Wireless Router you will need to go from the wall to the modem with the telephone cable they provide you with.

IF that is already configured, you then have to connect the router to the modem with an ethernet cable. You will then need to connect your computer to the router. Open a web browser and type in 192.168.1.1that will take you to the router's configuration.

The username is blank, the password for linksys devices is usually 'admin' After going there you willl need to configure the wireless settings to your liking.
