I have a pain in my hip which goes down my thigh, the side of my calf & other side of my foot is numb? Ideas?

No way anyone over the web could know exactly what's going on, of course, but I can tell you that the most common cause of what you post is hip bursitis. (The crooked torso in this case would just be your body's effort to get pressure off the sore hip.) Hip bursitis is often not a major medical problem (though the underlying cause of it can be--but again, NOT necessarily). You can read more about it by clicking this link: http://orthoinfo.aaos.org/topic.cfm?topi... Here's really why I'm answering you: I think you're right, not to pile more pressure on the situation, to be concerned about seeming to have a medical issue when you go for an interview.

People want healthy people, because unhealthy people can be expensive to carry. So you gotta find a way to band-aid this over for long enough to interview successfully. And I'm here to say: You *can do it.

Whatever the cause of your pain, RICE has a good chance of backing it down just enough to get through the interview. It wouldn't get you through a three-hour running marathon, but a brief interview, it can do it. Please click this for more info on RICE: http://www.webmd.com/first-aid/tc/rest-i... Throw on some Tylenol or Advil, if you can safely take these.

They will not make you dopey for the interview. Then you say to yourself, hey, I can do this. For an hour (or whatever), I can smile, tune the pain out, ride my body's own endorphin response, feel sorry and baby myself afterwards, and get through the interview.

Seeing an orthopedist specializing in the hips is also worth doing for long-term healing, though I hear you, right now, not financially feasible. If your interview is a job interview for a position with health insurance benefits, keep in mind that new hires often have a waiting period before insurance kicks in. If you follow self-care tips, this may even heal itself before you can get into a doctor.

Wishing you good luck, great care, interview success, and long-term pain relief soon.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
