Possible It's possible you disabled something, but more than likely, it's gone belly-up. You can buy burners really cheaply these days and it's one of the easiest upgrades you can do for your system .

You might need a new one. I seem to go through them every year. They're dirt cheap.

$30 gets you a decent CD-DVD burner. Why not buy a new one?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
