There are some folks here who I cannot do without as they are as good as real friends can be, We have respect for each other and know more about each other than it is necessary, that is possible only because of the trust. I very much enjoy sharing my love of music with many here who have proved beyond any shadow of a doubt that they too enjoy this exchange. In the process we learn about each other as well.

Internet is the best place to find like-minded people to share the love of hobby, it does not matter what color, race, or religion they belong to as the agenda here is just the love of interest/hobby. People are generally more tolerant if the intentions are known to be sincere. I have made some friends here and I will not give them up for any reason, that is why I was back.

Squeeky: I have not been here in 6 months. I like you hate the changes they made to this site. About 6 months ago I read one person saying that they were going to try to change this site again, and try to make it close to the old one.

I remembered that today and thought I would check in and see what they have done. I see it is still the sucky site that I left 6 months ago with no good changes. That is a shame, we use to have a close family here fighting and laughing together.It got pretty heated around election time, but it was so much fun.

This site today is very boring with no inter-reaction. Well back to Facebook, that is about as close as I can find to the old site. Playing games with people from all over the world.

I have found friends that do not even speak the same language, but through the games you get to learn what these people are saying. Back to my new family, 47 friends so fat and growing. There just isn't anything here any more.

I might check back in once in a while. What a shame what they did to this site.It will all ways be a meager site as long as they have it this way. Good luck all!

I forgot to say that this site over the past two years has become a site for Kindle questions and answers, and Amazon expecting the people here to answer those questions for them. That takes a load off there customer service people and they do not have to pay us nothing. They think that Gift Certificate they gave us for all the gold that we had, paid us to be there customer service people.

Sorry Amazon I am worth a lot more than that. If every one would send these people to Amazon and not answer those questions we all would be better off. Plus if you give a wrong answer you can be held liable if it damaged the Kindle.

People today have got so lazy they can't even go out and buy a book and read it, then put it on there book shelf or sell it.

I honestly like to help people. Did tech support for awhile and the customer service aspect was satisfying. I like to think if I'm kind and helpful, maybe people will 'pay it forward'.

The icing on the cake is that I've made some true friends here. :) .

I have consistently asked the kind of questions this site deserves and to provide the type of answers Enquiring minds want to know. I have scribbled reams of Charmin in this endeavor and the results speak for themselves , I am proud, not sure why but I am : ) hey how about them new kindles, wowzer wowzer! And of course there are some good, even great folks here that I am glad to know.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
