Is it the people ,or Askville itself that keeps you coming back?

Yeah, I know what you are saying, Squeeky... I posted my feelings about things a few minutes ago on the Forum board that the Team started specifically for us to give feedback on, and then didn't bother to show up today and interact with us there. :(Kat .

I guess im odd. I like askville itself mostly. I find questions stimulating as they give me opportunity to practice saying some things, and I learn some things, and the feedback for my effort has been a nice little carrot.

I am sad so many of my carrots have been taken away.

Most certainly the people although I do like the redesign of the site and it encourages me to answer more question and get more involved.

I like the people but asking questions seems simpler now. I have not answered adding links...... eventually we will get used to it. We are very adaptable.

I rather like helping out here and there with answers and supporting Squeeky when he gets frazzled about that Elf fella. ;-)The format leaves a lot to be desired. Even here, with Squeeky's question and my window slot for answer, both take up 3/4 of the webpage, which really needn't be so big.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
