I have been asked to do appeals here at Askville..and I do them fairly... I have one problem..... It seems to be the same Askviller every time. Have you had the same experience? I do not mind doing them, and I am not complaining... I feel that this same Askviller has an awful lot of complaining or is appealing every single answer.. I almost sent this person a PM, but I kept my BIG NUTTY mouth shut!
I just find it very odd! Asked by ~Nutty~ 48 months ago Similar questions: asked appeals Askville fairly problem Amazon > Askville.

Some people see everything in life as a competition So we just do what we can do. I know there is an 'ignore this' option on the appeals judgments and I used that once when it was a subject I knew nothing about. That might be an option for this person's appeals... But yes, it happens.Do whatever seems best to you.
This is not the end of the world, but it is supposed to be a fun place and somewhere to exchange information. Some people take it much, much further than that from what I have seen..
I don't mind But of all the ones that I've answered, I've only disagreed with the rating twice. Average is average, after all.... The two that I changed, it was obvious that the person's opinion didn't mesh with the question, not that the answer was flawed... I haven't noticed that they were all from one person, but it might be the categories.... Celia .
I haven't noticed that because I haven't been paying attention to who I'm rating (mostly because they have the default avatar a lot and I tend to rely on those to recognize people). Perhaps they are appealing things with specific topics that have very few people qualified to rate the appeals? I don't know.
That is kind of strange though, I really do think I would have noticed some sort of pattern if it had been there in my appeals (though maybe not, like I said, I haven't been paying that much attention - I read the question and the answer, then vote). I agree, it is very strange..
Hmmm... I've been asked to do 5 or 6 appeals, and I think there has been only one repeat. Maybe you could ask this person - pleasantly of course - why he/she is appealing so many of their answers. Just my 2 cents..
I have had numerous appeals to vote on and none of them have been repeat appealers so far. I have only launched seven appeals so I hope that it isn’t me you are talking about but I can’t figure out why you are getting all of those appeals from the same person. I have had appeals to vote on from several Askvillers that I know and a couple that I have never heard of but never the same person twice.
You’re just lucky I guess! Sources: my experience .
If so..." "I haven't seen this Q yet, sorry if it has been asked. Do you think we will be able to buy the Askville T-shirts with>>" "Why do you think so few questions about sports are asked on Askville?
I haven't seen this Q yet, sorry if it has been asked. Do you think we will be able to buy the Askville T-shirts with.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
