They do have a free online edition, but it's only for simple returns I used the pay version of TurboTax before and it did a good job, but I wouldn't qualify for the free version. If you're filing a simple return, yeah, I would definitely try it. It's cheaper than any other solution other than doing them entirely yourself, but the question and answer format does make preparation easier.So I'd give it a try.

We love TurboTax! We have used TurboTax for years and love it. I am a tax professional and I still find myself using their interview feature to make sure we didn't miss anything.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
