I just started weaning my 10 month old and I have not breastfed him for the last 2 weeks and my left breast is smaller. My left breast is smaller than my right breast and I'm really getting worried that they won't even out and I will need surgery. It's been 2 weeks that I haven't breastfed.

Has anyone gone threw this before? I'm lopsided! Asked by newuser9996083 42 months ago Similar questions: started weaning 10 month breastfed weeks left breast smaller Family.

I haven't experienced this. I am a man & have not & will not experience this condition. But I do know that women’s breast are not always of equal size, even if they haven’t breast fed babies.

If there is a marked difference in size, it would be best to see a doctor with experience with women’s breasts & breastfeeding. Avoid surgery. My wife had breast cancer & a masectomy & surgery on the other breast for the usual reasons.

Mainly to even herself out with the implant. She wishes she hadn't let the doctor near the healthy breast. No major problems, just a lack of sensation.

Good Luck .

It should go away but normally breasts are different sizes, but you may not have noticed it before. If there is swelling still it will go away soon.

1 MANY women are "lopsided". It isn't a phenomenon exclusive to breastfeeders. This user has been banned from Askville.

2 if you fed your child more on the left side than the right then you will be bigger on the side that you fed with most often. And in time they will eventually even out.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
