Arthritis as well as scar tissue will cause pain and both femurs, goodness I am glad you can walk at all! You did go through ALLLLLL the physcal therapy right?
It make take more time for those bones to completely knit and you to feel no pain.
I had a bimaleolar fracture of my right ankle, with two plates and nine pins placed on 31 October, 1995. It *still* hurts me, even to this day.
You may want to see another orthopedic surgeon and/or have more imaging done (CT or MRI) to evaluate the bone and soft tissue healing.
Good luck, I hope you are free of pain soon.
If the doctor you are seeing now can not answer your question, I suggest getting a second opinion. My son broke his femur. He healed well, but does still have pain from time to time.
He was told the likely culprit was scar tissue build up. He does martial arts still.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
